SIMON ROBERTS & ALISON REDDIHOUGH
Tickled Moon was created in 2019 by husband and wife, Simon Roberts and Alison Reddihough. They live in an old dairy in Sussex, England, with their 2 teenage boys and Merlin (a very cool black cat).
So far their personalised books have been featured on ITV’s “This Morning” Best Personalised Gift Feature, on BBC Radio, as a Best Buy in an IndyBest guide, as well as in various UK magazines and newspapers. (For further information, please visit our Press & PR page.)
Alison and Simon are used to creative endeavours, having both started out as actors and then later delving into filmmaking. Their film company Amulet Films produced two award winning short films, one of which “Ghosthunter” was shortlisted for an Oscar and became the subject of the book “How To Make Great Short Films, The Making of Ghosthunter”.
Aside from their personalised children’s books, Alison loves writing anything from peachy poetry to screenplays. Whilst Simon is the creative technical whizz at all things web and film/video related.
Together as Tickled Moon they hope to spread a wee bit more positivity and playfulness in the world and have many other heartwarming, fun personalised books and other products lined up for the next few years.

ILLUSTRATOR – JODIE WONFORD
Illustrating makes Jodie’s heart sing, so she’s doing it as much as possible since finishing her degree at Kingston University in 2018.
Children’s book illustration is Jodie’s ultimate passion. Being able to spend time bringing a story to life visually gives her so much joy. She is very grateful to have illustrated seven books working with Tickled Moon. She says that their stories are amazing and that she’s so pleased that they trusted her to illustrate them.
Jodie enjoys every stage of illustrating a book, from creating a brand new character and developing their personality, to mapping out what will go on each page, to bringing that page to life by adding colour. Children’s books also take a lot longer to complete than most illustration commissions and she really enjoys devoting herself to a project for a long period of time to make it the best it can be!
