There are 9 personalisations that need to be filled in for your twins version of “The Birthday BOO!”

GENDER – Select Girls, Mixed or Boys.

TWIN ONE – The twin’s first name that the book is for. You have a maximum of 8 characters for this. (If you have a name longer than 8 characters, contact us as we may be able to customise the book for you).

TWIN TWO – The other twin’s first name that the book is for. You have a maximum of 8 characters for this. (If you have a name longer than 8 characters, contact us as we may be able to customise the book for you).

BOOK COVER NAME - We have a limit of 19 characters for the Book Cover Name & Spine. So here, please choose between EITHER both twins names e.g. Olivia & Harrison  OR “The SURNAME Twins” e.g. The Haworth Twins. (If you simply can’t fit both names or the Surname Twins in then do contact us.)

BIRTHDAY – Click on the Birthday field and a pop up calendar will appear. Select the twin’s Date of Birth from the calendar.

AGE – This will be automatically filled in for you from your DOB calendar selection. (The year of birth is not used in the book but only to calculate the child’s age. If the child’s age has already passed just change the age manually).

FAVOURITE GIFT – A chance to personalise the story with one or two gifts that the twins really want! If you’re not sure, we have provided some popular suggestions in the drop-down menu. To write your own select ‘Custom Gift’ from the drop down menu and fill in the ‘Custom Gift’ field which will then appear below (maximum 30 characters).

Please note – When adding a Custom Gift, you are completing the sentence “They want…”. So for best results you may need to add an ‘a’, ‘an’ or ‘the’ in front of your chosen gift(s). Please check that autocorrect doesn’t unnecessarily capitalise the ‘a’ or gift (unless it is a brand name e.g. Lego).

FAVOURITE FOOD – A chance to personalise the story with the twin’s favourite food(s)! If you’re not sure, we have provided some popular suggestions in the drop-down menu. To write your own select ‘Custom Food’ from the drop down menu and fill in the ‘Custom Food’ field which will then appear below (maximum 30 characters).

Please note – When adding a Custom Food, you are completing the sentence “They ate…” so it works well to add one long Custom Food dish (e.g. Grandma’s shepherd’s pie) or 2 Custom Foods (e.g. strawberries and cream’). Please check that autocorrect doesn’t unnecessarily capitalise your Custom Food (unless it is a brand name e.g. Haribos).

DEDICATION – (optional) We provide a personalised, poetic dedication for your book, but you may like to add to this with your own special words. (You can then add up to 148 characters, over 7 lines).

PREVIEW MY BOOK – When you click on this button, a preview of your whole book, complete with your personalisations and dedication (if written), will pop up. (All starred* personalisation fields must be completed before you can view your preview).

PLEASE CHECK IT CAREFULLY and if you spot any mistakes, close the preview box to amend your personalisations.

COVER CHOICE – Select whether you want SOFTCOVER or HARDCOVER.

GIFTWRAP – Select whether you want to add GIFTWRAP or NO GIFTWRAP.

ADD TO CART button. If you have omitted any of the required fields a pop up box will let you know what you have missed out. Otherwise you will be taken through the CART and CHECKOUT process. There you will see all your personalisations and dedication listed so you’ll be able to check them thoroughly again.
